It's either NOW or NEVER

It has been nearly two months after retiring from all the co-curriculum societies.
but I still keep myself updated with the latest news about the progress of the Unit.
I see that the unit is still the same nothing changes except the faces of the new term committee and members.

Some of the members still asking me regarding about RC stuff eg when to pass up the walk-a-ton cards, what is the upcoming duties etc...
I feel very weird, aren't they suppose to refer that to the current committee.
Either they shy or the committee not very close with the members....

I was shocked to see how bad the marching performance of the squad. On top of that just less than 13 members together with only 2 junior committee turn up for the Hari Koko rehearsal.

The word committee is a team of people which have high level of commitment in them.
So please don't get influence by other people if u did the right action then your on the right path towards your senior com post next term.

Same goes to the current seniors, there is no point writing down very neat all the plannings inside your logbook when there is no action taken to improve on the current performance of the unit.

Some of you might ask me even though I retired from my post and i still wasting my time care so much about the progress of the unit
My answer is very simple only.....
"It Is because I LOVE THE UNIT"

Full Stopped....

Phew.... Phew... Phew...
At last my final piece of paperworks are completed...
Sacrifice my precious 3 days time to complete it.
Sigh all my time for revision for trials just gone like that.
Now I'm 3 days closer to second trials d which left me 18 days to prepare for it.
but its okey, I'm happy as long I did something which is beneficial for the unit before I leave the school.

Can you see how thick is it.... O.o Finished in 3 days

So I hope that they will appreciate what we all have sacrificed and done for the unit.

Starting point......Ending Point

Thinking back during the time when I signed up as a member of Red Crescent during form 1.
Back then I was not so really active yet until Sin Hui (that time he is my ATC leader) approached me to come for Annual Training Camp 2006.
Actually this is my first time camping experience, so from there he trained me with all the basic marching, first aid and bandaging skills.
Back then, I'm quite shy and quite person don't really socialize a lot.
After I participated in various Red Crescent events, i realized myself that I really change a lot since then...


Can you recognize me??? I laugh out myself when I see this picture... What a big difference.

Later, I was selected to lead Team 1 : F.A.M.I.L.Y (my team name)
with 10 committed and faithful members
and my helpful assistant, Aaric Goh.
I'm very proud to say that this is my best ATC ever...

We had our memorable moments together as one big F.A.M.I.L.Y

I was appointed as
Solferino Lance Section Leader for the term 2008/2009
under the leadership of Kenneth Chun.
I can say that I attended all the events throughout the term without miss and with 100% full attendance....
We all went around to organize various internal and external events for the unit and as well for HQ when ever they need us...
but among us there is a traitor who back stab us just for fame and power
We so disappointed because we put the thrust on the wrong person...
but now its over so I don't want to say so much about it.

The final term 2009/2010 I was elected as the secretary of the unit.
I'm so down when I didn't get the post that I always wish for but i'm sure there is reason behind it...
At first I was to stress and worried that there are so many paperwork to be done
but then I motivate myself that I need to enjoy from what I'm doing so from there onwards I enjoyed doing paperwork
I was impressed with how Miss Lee Ewe Im handle all her paperwork. Salute her!!
from there I learn how to manage my stuff properly
"The key of success for secretary is EFFICIENCY"


Ended my term with a big smile on my face :D

So thats the end off the term 2009/2010 and term 2010/2011 will replace the current term with hope and determination to bring unit to better and brighter path...

Winning or Losing?

First of all, I would like to Congratulate our DP Squad for emerged as 1st Runner-Up.

In a competitions,

there are WINNERS & LOSERS

But do you all think is it worth the achievement what we had achieved during DP.

After months of trainings....
All the time you all used to attend trainings
Sacrificed your time for revision, playing, relaxing and ....
A few gallons of sweat you all have sweat ed out...
From fair skin turn into dark (sunburn)
Punishment that you get from commander and others



The sun shines after every storm...

So now the Unit is depending on you all the upcoming and the future committees and members to grab back what is belong to UNIT 25...

Chung Ling Quiz

Another year of Chung Ling Quiz, I'm always wishing that I can participate for this quiz but too bad my time was up and have to give chance for the younger generation to participate and gain experience from it.
I involve myself indirectly by helping them with the quiz. I have spend my time googling all the facts for everything that come to my mind. Then I compile them into short notes for them to prepare themself for the quiz.
I'm very happy that both of the team qualified for the quiz and it gives us fresh hope to win the quiz.

Team B: Manrajpal, Win Sern, Bhavesh & Ahmad Faiz
19 June 2010: It is the time to face the quiz. Before the quiz started, I told them a few words before they went for the quiz. Team B vs Chung Ling A and Team A vs Chung Ling B. What a good combination x.X You know what both of the team all out at the first round but the marks was pretty close. FYI i feel that the buzzer was not working lo even though have been press for few times. Most of the question and answer are similar to my notes. I also found out that they recycled last years question the stroke and aids question are still there...
Never mind do better next year...

Annual Training Camp 2010

In just a blink of an eye time just passed like that. Last year, when I was a junior committee used to organized my assigned events. Now I'm now standing as a senior committee looking at how the junior conducting their event. So basically become a senior very bored due to lack of stuff to do. So to avoid from getting over bored we decided to play badminton during the period of the camp. Haha.

DAY 1
The day started with modern cooking, wohoo my favourite event where get to taste all the dishes that members cooked. I personally like the way how Bhavesh decorated his dishes. But too bad I didn't get to have taste of it because all the non markers took our share d. Never mind la, still got other dishes from other team to eat. Next, practical nothing much la. Just helping to mark treatment for food poisoning. Then, there is a cat that so faithful where it together camping with us all. Haha. How many times other senior bring it to other places but in the end it come back to our room. Haha its like got gps together with it d... Lol. Later in the evening, we all having our night hunt event. This is the best event la for the 1st day of camp even though its kinda tiring. So now i'm still blogging though its 3.26am d. Coz now we having bbq... :-D

Day 2
Hmm.... it kick start with Marching. Marching as you know the performance not up to the par yet. They all have to put in more afford and energy to improve more. I was so sleepy during marching because the whole night didn't sleep due to BBQ. Then I went to talk to the members to avoid sleeping. I found out what is the cause that cause Suhanesh to be so demoralize then i suggest some solution and give support to Suhanesh. After marching, I took a short nap for 10 minutes because later got assignment. Assignment for me the best event for the Camp. Every year I'm always looking forward for this event. I was assigned to follow Bhavesh's team. This year we went to Datuk Keramat from PFS to eat Cucuk Udang but the stall was closed that day. So we eat Chinese Loh Bak but too bad the Malay couldn't eat. From there we went to Sunshine City to buy 10 items worth less than RM 10. Next they required to go to UMNO and then back to Praingin Mall. We went to S&J shop to buy a gift for any couple but I bought present for Ken Lin's birthday. Next, went back to PFS by Taxi, Bhavesh said it i'll be much faster but in the end reached got 3rd place. Next event talent time, i almost slept during the event... haha Their dance is not like dancing, more like a joke. but the one which i give high marks which are the performance I like the most. I personally like Tze Jin's Violin performance and the Rapper boy, Bryan... Next stop, SLEEP TIME FOR ME. Couldn't wake up for Night Call.

Day 3
I Waked up late and missed Theory. Anyway theory nothing much to see la. Due to raining Team Test was bring forward I just observed the 1st Team and the remaining team I didn't go observe because I went to take a bath and having my breakfast. XD
Next is station games, another event which I looking forward too... =D I was having fun with the members where I painted member's face and members painted my face.... hahaha Next is Game Session, as usual football again but then this year Committee wins the match with 3-1. I wasn't in the squad, Aaric and I was playing badminton at the porch that time... hahax. Night, its time for mock war. Everyone was busy applying wintergreen all over their body... haha After mock war we all planned not to sleep for the last night. We (Zhen How, Ken Lin, Aaric) turun padang to help out the Team with their gadget. We all focused on helping Suhanesh's and Yuven's Team. Build table and chair/bed and many more...

Members called me Mr Unit 25... haha XD

Day 4
Continue building.... build till 4am... feeling tired d. Then we (Sin Hui, Kenneth, Aaric, Zhen How, Ken Lin, Yong Hong and Me) went to McD to have our early breakfast.. Then we all 'tar pau' (Packed) coffee for those who waked for the gadget just now... Then we all went back to our room and play with the cat.... The cat was there sleeping inside our room... lol haha At 9am, Me and Yong Hong went to help out to paint two BSS cupboard. Chun Seong,Ken Tat, Mok, Jun Leong and Doris was there. Doris asked me to bring along the Cat. She gave it cows milk to drink. Then the cat keep running here and there ... haha and got twice it try to jump down the building and we both quickly catch it from jumping down... Phewww... After finish painted the cupboard, we went to Bilik Guru A rest 1st, enjoy Air Cond.... Then Doris asked us to testing her food. Hmmm after makan.. Not bad la but just need to add more taste btw thanks for the food.... XD
Then we rushed for the photo session for committee group photo and ATC participants group photo. Thats the end of ATC '10 after the post mortem and receive feedback from the participants...

Flag Day 2010

Sorry for the delay,
Flag Day is the day where all the Red Crescent members went around Penang Island to ask for donation from the public to raise the funds for public duties, competitions, ambulance service and many more...

First day of Flag Day (20th Mac)
I stay at Head Quarters together with Zhen How taking care of the station. I arrived around 6.15am, seeing everyone waiting impatiently for the doors to open for collection. So I went in to the hall. Helping Zhen How with the tins. Later as soon as the clock struck at 7am. The doors was open and everyone rushed for the tins. The Saints and MGS-ian they all race with each other to get the best collection of the year. After gave out all the tins, we all very free already. So we do our own work. I took out Sejarah Text Book and do short notes... Do till half way, then chit chat with my seniors ( Sin Hui, Kenneth and Ramiah). Later, Harveena asked me to teach her Add Maths Chapter 3 form 5 (integration). Well, I become a teacher for about 2 hours lo.. haha. I went home around 12.00pm, bath and having my lunch. Then, prepare to go for Chemistry Tuition....

Second Day (21 Mac)
Went out together with Jonathan to collect donation. At first, Ken Lin, Jonathan and Choo Lai Yee, they followed me to Air Itam Market. Then we go collect at there. Ken Lin meet with his G'Ma and he went with his G'ma and leave us to collect. Then collecting halfway, meet with Doris. She also collect at there...haha. Jonathan and I went up to Kek Lok Si to collect... Wow... Damn tired after climb up till the top... Pay our respect to the Goddess of Mercy... Next we walk down again and take Rapid Bus to meet Aliff at HQ. From there we go to Pragin Mall. We were waiting for Ken Lin and collecting donation while waiting for him. A few hours later he came with cloths for us to change coz we forgotten to bring our clothes (Casual clothes). Thanks for the clothes, Ken Lin. Now we headed to Gurney Plaza to buy gift for our DHDC's birthday. We went to all shops looking for what to buy for him. Finally, we bought for him a T-Shirt. After that we go rayau-rayau la... Then we take bus back to HQ.... Thats Flag Day 2010....

Thaipussam Duty

This is the longest duty among all the duties that I have went to...
It is from 3.00pm till 12 midnight ( 9 hours)

I was station at Station 6 where the station near the River together with:
- Rahmat (Mat)
- Aaric Goh
- Tan Soon Jin
- Ah Hui (Hutchings)

Not even one minute we take over the base from CPT, there is one case already.
A boy fell down and got bleeding on his stomach and his head. He also dislocate his right hand... I can't imagine how he fell down also...
This is the most serious case and the following injuries was minor bleeding and cuts only.

After that no more case already. Me, Aaric and Soon Jin discuss over the manga stories like Naruto, One Piece and Bleach.

Discuss, Discuss, Discuss...
until puas puas...hehe

We all see the Indians carrying the Kavadies. They all are very creative in decorating those stuff... It really amazed us... Later me Mat and Aaric shared our own religious views. Most of it using the same concept where humans have to do good deeds always... and many more la...

1st General Meeting of the year!

Another year, another new faces...
This is the first general meeting of the year...
So the meeting started off with registration for the old members and new members.

For now we manage to recruit 7 form one members.
Sooner or later we will have more than that.
because the form one they easily get terpengaruh with all their sweet words la...
I busy collecting their membership form, while the treasurer busy collecting the money...

The competition was held last Sunday.

This first aid and marching competition is held once every 2 years. So next year will be

The day where the new comers register themselves in which Uniform Body/Society or Clubs they wanted to join...

I still remember when I'm form one time. How I impressed with the performance shown by the school band... but i'm not intrested to join band.
I'm more keen to join the uniform body that will help to save people's life for example
Red Crescent or St. John Ambulance..
Our school don't have St. John Ambulance but I heard last time they use to have but don't know why now pupus already...
So I join Red Crescent... until now become the Mr. Secretary...
